The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have come up with a Reminder List, featuring 301 films in total and these films can officially compete in various categories at Oscars 2023, however featuring in this list does not guarantee a nomination at the marquee ceremony. There are some Indian films which have been featured in the Reminder List and these are -- 'The Kashmir Files', 'RRR', 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and 'Kantara'.
The Reminder List also features 'Chhello Show (Last Film Show), which is India's official Oscar entry. Other Indian films to feature in this list are -- 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', 'Me Vasantrao', 'Tujhya Sathi Kahi Hi', 'Iravin Nizhal' and 'Vikrant Rona'.
Documentaries 'All That Breathes' and 'The Elephant Whisperers' also feature in the Reminder List.
The nomination voting for the Oscars will begin on January 12 and the process will conclude on January 17.
The final nominations will be unveiled on January 24. The 95th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
